the quest for the knowledge of God |

With
all of the talk of Sumerian gods that one will find on
these pages, the reader may find it odd that I would now
begin to speak of God.
It must be understood that all things from rocks to Enki are the emanation of our phenomenal and spiritual universe. It must be understood that all these emanations are part of the great All. Hail Anu! Smiling universe! Hail YhVh the father of the Hebrew people, loving yet stern all father! Hail Allah! Goodness and Grace of the Divine notion of Worship! Hail all those great and all encompassing being called by all names through out the ages! Why? Because they are all the same great all singing all dancing cosmic review! we are the thump of the drum, the ring of the cymbol, the graceful foot seeking just a brief moment of oneness with this allness. You think me irreverent? Whether El, Bel,YHVH, Allah, anu, Brama it is not important, what is important is that ALL PATHS LEAD TO THE TOP OF THE SAME MOUNTAIN! Even olde Shaitan himself is a part of the great all. There is a vast difference between Worship and Veneration, Worship is the active process of putting one's fate and faith in the All Mighty. It is an Active Fellowship of the common bond of love of one's Gods. Veneration is the respect and propagation of the Gods within ones own heart, those who venerate the gods come together to worship. And many lone persons venerate and worship alone. Is one better than the other? Many 'Anuists' drown themselves in his worship and place him above all others, this is silly. All gods and emanations are all valid and true. Anu is not 'higher' or 'better' or 'more potent or important' than any other. We say that Enlil is the will and word of Anu and that Enki is the Compassion and cleverness of Anu. How can the Compassion of the All be less significant than the All? It's very existence shows that if Anu as 'The All' was of the greater importance or more efficacious, than Enki (the compassion) then there would be no Archetype of Enki. It is the way of our kind to seek to break down a larger system into smaller parts to aid with the study of the All. The Essenes say the Jesus said "Our father has but one law, 'honor the father in heaven and honor thy earthly mother'. this was too difficult for man to see. Thus he handed this law unto Moses as ten. This he took to the people and they could not see nor understand it, thus it was broken again into over a hundred rules of virtue (mitzvas) and levitical rules. even this then was too great, thus were made the Rabbinical law! and thou sayest to me 'tell me simply'? thus I say .Honor the father in heaven and Honor thy earthy mother. now go make ten thousand laws and wisdoms of it." Without the study of the emanations of Anu, there could be little chance that we could experience Anu. We say that one cannot practice perfection and purity if one is imperfect and impure. This is doomed to failure. Rather we can only seek to grasp a tiny bit at a time. A tiny bit that is perfect yet understandable, in this way each little bit adds up to perfect. In Sumerian '1' is 'Dili'. "one by one." or "bit by bit." is expressed as "Didli-didli-didli." Didli-didli is how we must approach the study of wisdom. In one of or writing it is said that one may hear the echoing cry of the 'Mage' as so, "ALAS I REJOICE! REJOICE WE ARE LOST! DIDLI-DIDLI-DIDLI! ME ME ME! IT MEANS: "I FEEL JOY HERE AND NOW, THUS BY THE NATURE OF JOY, I MUST ACCEPT THAT IT WILL PASS AND THE DIFFICULTIES OF LIFE WILL ASSAIL ME(alas I rejoice). WHEN THESE THINGS COME I WILL REJOICE BECAUSE THE TRIALS OF LIFE BRING WISDOM AND COMMON SENSE (Rejoice we are lost). DEAL WITH LIFE ONE BIT AT A TIME HERE AND NOW, THEN THE DIVINE GIFTS (THE ME) WILL COME TO YOU. (didli-didli-didli. me me me) This is the preeminent Philosophy of the Datu, for it is only by the trials of the living and mortal, that we may gain enough wisdom and gifts to touch the face of god. The face of god is not untouchable, the writ of one tells us that all the gods are knowable with. and that one may study all the gods (didli-didli-didli) and thus come to know him, or one may seek to know him, and if successful they would then understand all other gods. The first approach is realistic, the second is not! MORE TO COME |
